I'm happy to say I have gotten a job (finally). Unfortunately, what this means for you lot is that I can probably only update once a week. Sorry guys, but I need money, it gives me stuff.

Kiddo went to grandma's today, so we went to the movies. We saw Get Smart. My expectations were not terribly high based on some negative reviews and now I know those reviewers are flippin idiots. Ok, it wasn't the same as the TV show. It's been 30 years, it shouldn't be the same thing. But it was based on the TV show and it was funny. Not like "ok look, there was some humor in that situation" but "make them stop I'm going to pee in my seat I'm laughing so hard". I don't know what the sequel plans are, but if they make a sequel, I will go see it.

jolita posted this wonderful performance of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, which I certainly did not expect from an accordion.I started searching out other Bach pieces on accordion, and somehow that led me to this performance of Flight of the Bumblebee on 7 string electric bass.
I've had lots of fun listening to odds and ends tonight.

Just found all three seasons of the 1984 Robin Hood series. Cannot wait to get that added to the collection.
